Maine Medical Center said it expects to start site work on a new clinical services building in Scarborough this fall after getting a green light this week from the town Planning Board.
Monday night’s unanimous vote clears the way for a $59 million Maine Medical Partners building at Maine Med’s Route 1 campus, as part of its overall expansion and modernization project.
SMRT Architects and Engineers, of Portland, is the architect on the Scarborough development, while Consigli Construction is the builder, according to a Maine Medical Center spokesman.
